What does the amount signifyThe amount of 46 L (subject to inflation) is a refundable security deposit, to be paid according to a decided schedule, at the time of signing the MOU.This amount will stay with the Trust for as long as the individual is enrolled in the project (even lifelong).
The deposit shall stand refundable in the following situations:Arunima will continue to provide services for which a monthly fee will be charged. At current costs, the monthly residential fees is approx INR 50,000/- per month. This can be used as a basis for the monthly fee, taking inflation into account.This needs to be paid life long for the services common to all. Medical expenses and expenses for the individual needs would be extra.
The residence will be up and running for 30/32 people once we are ready to move in, and we start incurring operational costs immediately. We will need to ensure that the quality of the service is top class, and all of the 32 families will need to pay an equal amount to keep it running at that level, whether or not their ward is living at Arunima. Variables like food costs and other consumables, for example, will come into play, once a resident moves in, but a certain amount will need to be paid, regardless. We would not like to use any residents' room for another person, but reserve and keep it for the resident whom it belongs to. This amount is INR 30,000/- per month at current costs, this can be used as a basis for the calculation of future contribution, taking inflation into account. This amount would be paid by all, irrespective of whether the individual is staying at Arunima or not.

The deposit shall stand refundable in the following situations:
a. Creating obstruction in the smooth functioning of the skilling and assisted living center
b. Otherwise indulging in any act that goes against the ethos of the Trust.
Provided that the board of directors ( with at least 1 parent representative) will always be consulted and informed about the proposed action under this paragraph against any parent and after following such procedure as may be specified in this regard.
